Re-dying Bed Frame
This luxury Timothy Oulton Designer bed frame had sun bleach and needed to be re-dyed to the original colour. Opulence The Leather Company was asked if we could do this, we said that we could , and set about mixing the colours to create the correct coloured dye, this was then applied and sealed to give the tied bed frame a new lease of life and the bedroom a new look.

Dining Chairs Re-Dyed
This Luxury Furniture needed to be re-dyed due to the sun bleach along with some minor repair works to the stitching, the customer required the unique designer pattern to still be there after the re-dying, so the correct colour and dying process needed to be chosen, the dye had to colour and be transparent has well, this was achieve giving the kitchen area a new look, and the customer thought the furniture had just been bought

Vintage /Antique Heirloom
Chaise Lounge
This vintage chaise lounge was made around 80 years ago, the owner removed all the traditional upholstery, springs horse hair etc. and replaced it with foam this obviously did not last so Opulence The Leather Company was asked if we could turn it back to its former glory, since they wanted to pass it on to their granddaughter.
After meeting with eth owner and the granddaughter a sapphire blue velvet fabric was chosen, the show wood was deep cleaned and rejuvenated and waxed. Traditional methods was used to reupholster the Chaise Lounge before handing it back to the happy customer

Semi-Aniline Leather
Two Seat Sofa
A cherished 15 year old two seat semi-aniline sofa was in need of some TLC the Semi-Aniline Sofa was cleaned and prepared for re-dying, before nourishing the leather. Some of the webbing was replaced due to damage, and both the backing and bottom cloths where also replaced due to damage, giving a new lease of life to the sofa.
Italian-made

This leather armchair was made and imported from Italy. Opulence The Leather Company was called as there was a very visible stain which was caused from the oils and hair products used by the customer. The customer had attempted to remove the stain themselves, however this created further issues which resulted in some of the dye being removed from the leather.
The leather dye created by the manufacturer was not available and therefore Opulence The Leather Company had to replicate the existing colour. Aniline leather is one of the most sought after types of leather, beautiful and soft to touch. It does however require regular maintenance and protection against things like the dye from trousers, ink, coffee and wine (to name just a few). This is because the leather is porous and doesn’t have a protective coating. It also fades in direct sunlight, and needs to be conditioned to prevent drying out.

Leather

A set of dining chairs can feel worn if just one of the sets isn’t matching. This leather dining chair received a deep scuff from being pushed under the table in a rush.
This was a rather extensive leather repair job. It required a lot of work ensuring the deep scuffs continued to match the radius of the arm before applying an exact match paint. This brought the dining chair back to looking unblemished and part of the set once more.

An old coffee table was upholstered in leather and then colour changed to suit the chesterfield sofa and chair, this was then protected to prevent spillage damage to the table giving the customer a unique piece of bespoke furniture to their room.

A customer had placed her furniture in storage while she moved into her new home. When the sofa was delivered to her it had a deep scratch on the arm. Our highly skilled leather repair technicians carefully repaired the scratch and repainted the arm to match the original colour. This resulted in a restored arm which now looks as it should.

A customer had recently purchased a leather corner sofa for their kitchen. One morning the customer noticed the marks on the sofa, upon a closer inspection found that the cat had decided to use it to sharpen its claws.
The customer asked if the damage could be repaired and after lots of love and attention we were able to restore it to how it originally looked.

A customer had a young kitten that decided to sharpen its claws on the bran new sofa, the claw marks where in several places which had to be repaired and then coloured to match.
Laura Ashley Leather Wingback Chair Colour Change
A customer had recently inherited a piece of furniture from their deceased father. They wanted it repaired and to have its colour changed. Given the age of the chair and how regularly it had been used, the leather has absorbed a substantial amount of body oil to the back and arms. This first needed to be extracted using specialist product.
We were then able to add additional cushion filling to pad out the seat and change the colour of the leather. The restoration is truly incredible and the customer can use this for generations.
Recliner Sofa Repair and Colour
A customer has two 23 year old Sofas that had become worn and faded and wanted to know if they could be repaired since they loved the comfort and colour and could not find another in the shops.
We at Opulence the Leather Company knew that we could restore these pieces of furniture to looking great again. The holes where patched and the marks and stains where removed before recolouring and lacquering the sofas, to bring them back looking and feeling fabulous again much to the customers delight.

A leather arm had been scratched. The customer then rubbed the leather and it began to peel away resulting in an area the size of a 50 pence piece being removed.
We were contacted to see if we could restore the arm of the leather chair. The customer explained they were vulnerable and so we took additional precautions when visiting to better understand the job and also during the repair.
Our technician had to remove the peeling paint and then ensure no other paint or leather pigmented dye would peel before continuing the repair of the leather arm chair.
The leather chair arm had flexi-filler applied, followed by sanding, recolouring and blending in before the final lacquer was applied.

We were approached by a customer to see if we could do anything with their leather sofa. She explained that other leather repair specialists had turned the job down. The leather sofa required the leather seat cushions and the leather armrests refilling plus some repair work and recolouring. We completed the work and it’s safe to say we had an extremely happy customer.

We were approached by a customer and asked to upgrade their two loved Natuzzi leather sofas, after sitting down and having conversations with them regarding their options, we arranged to take one sofa away at a time and restore the leather and upgrade there internals and webbing. these looked and felt like new high quality leather sofas the customer was overjoyed with the results. Their can now enjoy them for many more years to come.

After extensive searching to find the right company the customer requested that her Aniline leather sofa which had been sun bleached and had faded in most areas be restored. but wanted it to look more antique since she had just moved into a 16th-century home. This sofa was then taken apart and each section lovingly restored and nourished to the antique look that the customer had requested. It now sits in her lounge in front of a 16th-century fireplace, another very happy customer.
